Web Design

Since the advent of the "World Wide Web" in the mid 1990's, web design techniques have progressively changed. These changes have been based upon several factors, including the evolving role of the web, the emergence of newer technologies and a growing understanding of the way in which human users interact with their computers.

While we enjoy broader design possibilities today than ever before, we also seek to employ more "standardized" ways of creating the user interface. This is important if web sites are to be effective across browser types, platforms and even device types. Use of so-called, "standards compliant" coding techniques is also important in providing accessibility to the greatest number of users.

Respecting All Platforms

As more and more of the public access the web using tablets and smart phones, designs must more often be made to be "responsive," adapting themselves to the particular device the user is employing. Where the client's audience will be broad and not limited to an internal group all using similar devices for access, CSoft will most often recommend that a design be made to deliver an uncompromising experience to users of small screens.

CSoft creates fully custom art for all of its client's sites and provides photo services as needed. Naturally, art and photographic work in which your company has already invested will be incorporated as appropriate. Similarly, printed materials you already possess can be rendered electronically to allow your site users to download and print your announcement or brochure.

We are no strangers to video, and this medium is clearly mission-critical to many web enterprises. Depending upon the client's needs we can: shoot the footage; edit the raw video; post the footage, or prepare and stream it.
